About the role

Operations team at Crane Worldwide Logistics oversees end‑to‑end air and ocean import shipments, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction. The Operations Supervisor leads the import team, coordinates with customers, overseas offices, transportation providers and Customs House Agents, and manages billing, customs queries and white‑glove deliveries. Based in Chennai with on‑site work required.

What you’ll do

• Manage and oversee air and ocean import shipments from initiation to delivery
• Coordinate with customers, overseas offices and internal teams for smooth execution
• Lead import operations team to meet service and operational objectives
• Ensure timely billing, invoice dispatch, portal uploads and payment follow‑up
• Handle customs queries for DDP shipments in coordination with CHA
• Manage white‑glove deliveries and system updates
• Review monthly loss reports and implement corrective actions
• Conduct weekly GTC file audits for compliance

Nice to have

• 5+ years freight forwarding/logistics experience
• Strong exposure to import operations
