About the role
The Hoxton, Bengaluru City is opening its first neighbourhood hotel in Asia in Bengaluru's city centre in 2026, and is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the finance function for this lifestyle brand launch. Day-to-day, you will own financial management and control, statutory and management reporting, balance sheets, P&L, cash and capital management, budgeting, forecasting, and owner/operations finance relationships, while leading and developing the hotel finance team. This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
What you’ll do
- Ensure strong financial management within a robust control environment
- Have ultimate responsibility for accurate accounting records and provide financial reports, including statutory accounts on a self-accounting basis
- Manage the finance relationship with operations and head office to deliver excellent service through quality input
- Manage relevant elements of the owner relationship
- Lead all elements related to balance sheets, P&L, cash management, and capital
- Provide focused, innovative, and value-adding management reporting and analysis
- Deliver high-quality management information and performance measurement that is accurate and relevant
- Ensure reporting incorporates benchmarking, KPIs, and balanced scorecard use
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of hotel finance experience, ideally already in a Director of Finance role
- Strong knowledge of Indian financial and legal operating requirements
- Technical skill with strong understanding of compliance requirements and best-practice hotel operations
- Experience setting up finance functions and standard systems
- Methodical, process-driven approach balanced with flexibility and creativity to meet deadlines and find solutions
- Ability to lead, develop, and inspire a high-quality finance team
- Passion for hospitality and positive impact on people
- Collaborative, ego-free mindset with willingness to try new approaches
