Senior Director, Finance

About the role

Finance department at MoEngage drives financial health and strategic growth. The Senior Director partners with the VP of Finance to lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit management, and tax compliance, while guiding a high‑performing finance team. Bengaluru, hybrid (partial remote).

What you’ll do

• Strategic partner to VP‑Finance for planning, budgeting, forecasting
• Oversee preparation of financial statements and ensure Indian GAAP compliance
• Lead statutory and internal audits, manage external auditor relationships
• Direct tax planning, compliance, and regulatory filings
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Mentor and develop finance and accounting team members
• Provide financial analysis to senior management for decision‑making
• Drive financial strategy to support company growth objectives

What you’ll bring

• 12-14 years progressive corporate finance experience
• 7+ years leadership role
• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification
• Expertise in Indian GAAP and financial reporting
• Proven audit management and internal controls
• In‑depth tax law knowledge and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with Netsuite ERP and advanced MS Excel
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
