About the role
Hardware Engineering team at Qualcomm develops machine learning inference acceleration products. The Senior Hardware Engineer designs board-level power systems, selects and programs voltage regulators, and validates post‑silicon performance. Works in Bangalore, on‑site, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure power metrics and system reliability.
What you’ll do
- Specify board‑level power design and select power management components
- Develop and program voltage regulator solutions and conduct validation testing
- Create and execute pre/post‑silicon test plans and analyze results
- Provide schematic and layout guidance, conduct design reviews, and ensure compliance with SI/PI standards
- Collaborate with SoC, firmware, and system teams to resolve power‑related issues
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years hardware engineering experience
- Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience with power electronics, switch‑mode converters, and voltage regulator design
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as SIMPLIS or MATLAB
- Knowledge of PCB layout, SI/PI analysis, and power integrity
