What you’ll do
- Provide timely, high quality client service to large and small companies.
- Develop strong working relationships with teams to solve client challenges.
- Understand client needs, expectations, business, industry, accounting systems.
- Demonstrate understanding of RSM US audit approach, methodology, tools.
- Perform audit procedures and tests per audit methodology and plan.
- Identify risk areas and accounting/auditing issues; discuss with teams.
- Research technical accounting issues.
- Develop industry expertise.
- Prepare audit reports and management letters.
- Exercise professional skepticism, judgment, and adhere to code of ethics.
- Ensure documentation complies with firm quality standards.
- Collaborate as part of team and communicate effectively with audit professionals.
- Provide supervision and development training for associates.
- Own assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence.
- Coordinate development and execution of audit work plan and deliverables.
- Understand RSM US and RSM Delivery Center's capabilities and deliver integrated service.
- Ensure professional development through ongoing education.
- Participate in projects and collaborate with multiple teams.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, initiative, timely completion.
- Provide oversight to senior associates and associates, including training.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's in Commerce
- Qualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA / Licensed CPA
- 6+ years relevant experience (non-qualified)
- CA qualified + 4 years experience, ACCA/CPA qualified + 5 years experience
- Strong technical skills in accounting including GAAP and GAAS
- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication (English)
Nice to have
- Strong data analytical skills with advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience in Life Sciences industry
