About the role
Avnet India’s Business Intelligence team drives data‑centric decision making across the organization. The Business Intelligence Analyst designs and builds Power BI dashboards, SQL databases, and SSRS/SSAS reports, while translating business needs into scalable data models and mentoring junior analysts. Bangalore, on‑site, full‑time role with opportunities to lead BI enablement initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports
- Create and maintain SQL databases, SSRS, and SSAS solutions
- Gather and analyze data requirements across functions
- Conduct quality assurance and user acceptance testing
- Train teams on Power BI and Microsoft BI tools
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years of experience with SQL and Power BI
- Proficiency in SSRS and SSAS
- Strong data modeling and visualization skills
- Ability to mentor and coach junior team members
- Experience in developing and optimizing dashboards and reports
