About the role
Godrej Agrovet Sales Excellence team drives go‑to‑market transformation across the agri portfolio, building scalable sales capabilities and best‑in‑class execution systems. The Vertical Lead partners with CEOs, Sales Heads and cross‑functional groups to design, implement and measure initiatives that boost field force productivity, channel effectiveness and technology‑enabled sales processes. Based in Mumbai with an on‑site work model, the role offers comprehensive health benefits, wellness programs and generous parental support.
What you’ll do
- Lead sales excellence and GTM transformation initiatives across agri businesses
- Define, institutionalise and scale best‑in‑class sales processes and governance mechanisms
- Own end‑to‑end transformation projects from design through adoption and impact measurement
- Improve field force productivity and channel effectiveness through simplification and standardisation
- Drive KPI visibility, execution governance and performance management systems
- Partner with CEOs, Sales Heads and cross‑functional teams on strategic priorities
- Collaborate with Digital & Analytics teams to enable technology‑driven sales transformation
- Support capability‑building initiatives for frontline sales leadership
What you’ll bring
- MBA or postgraduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Strategy or Business from a Tier‑I B‑school
- 7+ years experience in FMCG, agri inputs, rural distribution or sales transformation
- Strong background in rural GTM, channel management and frontline sales systems
- Proven ability to define and institutionalise sales ways of working and execution governance
