About the role
Global Supply Chain at Sun Pharma drives the export of dosage form products worldwide. The Senior Manager leads coordination with logistics providers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, cost‑effective shipments to over 26 countries while maintaining compliance and quality standards. Based in Mumbai, on‑site role with occasional global travel as needed.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate logistics for dosage form exports to 26+ countries
- Develop and manage relationships with freight forwarders and customs agents
- Optimize cost through reverse auction mechanisms and carrier contracts
- Maintain system hygiene by clearing pending orders and ensuring documentation accuracy
- Drive operational efficiency to meet shipment timelines and quality standards
- Lead team training, coaching, and performance development
What you’ll bring
- 5-7 years logistics management experience
- Proficiency with SAP Hana and Applexes
- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Vendor development and contract management
- Cost optimization and budget management
- Ensuring compliance with shipping quality standards
- Managing air-sea shipment ratio
- Preparing monthly MIS and reports
