About the role

Analyst/Sr. Analyst – Credit – EMEA Financial Institutions at MUFG Global Service Private Ltd. Mumbai. This role focuses on fundamental credit analysis for banks and financial institutions across EMEA, covering both developed and emerging markets. The analyst evaluates live transactions, performs limit renewals and annual reviews, and collaborates with relationship bankers and product partners to mitigate credit risk. Responsibilities include assessing credit issues, presenting risk mitigants, managing risk exposure, ensuring compliance with internal rules, and supporting asset‑manager transactions in securitised products, secured finance, FX, rates, and credit. Candidates should hold a degree and professional qualifications, possess experience in FI credit/insurance/NBFI analysis, and be familiar with loan documentation, credit protections, market risk, and ISDA/CSA documents. European language skills are desirable. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Mumbai, and requires strong analytical, decision‑making, and communication skills.

What you’ll do

Assess credit issues and present risks/mitigants
Manage risk exposure across EMEA portfolio
Work with Front Office on live transactions and risk monitoring
Perform forward‑looking fundamental credit calls
Support asset‑manager transactions
Ensure compliance with internal rules and reporting

What you’ll bring

Degree level and professional qualifications
Experience in FI credit/Insurance/NBFI analysis

Nice to have

Experience covering FIs in EMEA
Experience with NBFI (Insurance/Financial Sponsors)
Understanding of loan documentation and credit protections
Knowledge of market risk and ISDA/CSA documents
European language skills desirable
