About the role

Sr Credit Analyst – SME at MSME Business focuses on evaluating credit proposals, managing risk, and enhancing credit processes. The role involves reviewing credit applications, approving them within delegated authority, and monitoring non-performing assets. Analysts conduct portfolio reviews, identify policy gaps, and recommend improvements based on local market dynamics and competitor insights. They implement system integration plans, track NPA trends, and perform customer visits to support portfolio development. The position requires a graduate degree, 1–5 years of credit analysis experience, and familiarity with CAMBA standards. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills are essential. The role is based in Mumbai, India, and is a full‑time, on‑site position.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate and approve credit proposals within delegated authority.
• Review delinquent cases, document insights for risk management.
• Propose policy/process changes based on local nuances and competitor feedback.
• Execute system integration initiatives.
• Track and monitor NPAs.
• Conduct customer visits for portfolio development.
• Identify process gaps and associated risks.
• Recommend and enforce internal controls to mitigate gaps.
