Migration Modernization Architect, Professional Services

About the role

AWS Professional Services team drives large‑scale cloud migrations and application modernization for enterprise customers. The architect leads technical workshops, designs end‑to‑end migration and modernization solutions on AWS, and guides clients through well‑architected frameworks using tools like Terraform, Lambda, ECS and GenAI. Gurugram office, on‑site work model, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Lead client‑facing technical workshops and solution design
• Translate business requirements into AWS‑native architectures
• Drive migration discovery, planning and execution
• Implement cloud‑native patterns, APIs and microservices
• Ensure compliance, security and resiliency across solutions

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years CI/CD experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, S3)
• Proficiency in Java, .Net or Python
• Knowledge of security/compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR)

Nice to have

• 5+ years IT implementation
• Deep expertise in large‑scale cloud migrations
• VMware technologies (vSphere, NSX, HCX)
• Design and deployment of microservices on AWS
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
