About the role

AWS Professional Services team drives cloud adoption and application modernization for enterprise customers. The Senior Migration Modernization Architect leads end‑to‑end migration and modernization engagements, designs cloud‑native solutions, and conducts technical workshops with CXO‑level stakeholders. Bengaluru, on‑site role, hybrid collaboration with global AWS teams.

What you’ll do

• Lead end‑to‑end migration and modernization engagements
• Design cloud‑native solutions and architecture
• Conduct technical workshops and client presentations
• Perform application discovery, risk mitigation, and performance testing
• Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines
• Advise on AWS best practices and security compliance
• Guide teams on microservices, APIs, and data integration
• Mentor junior architects and drive continuous improvement

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math or equivalent
• 10+ years of large‑scale cloud migration or architecture experience
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, etc.)
• Strong consulting and CXO‑level communication skills
• Expertise in VMware and cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in .Net, Java, Python
• CI/CD (Terraform, CloudFormation, pipelines) experience
• Knowledge of security/compliance (HIPAA, GDPR)
