Data Governance team at EY enables governed, high-quality, trusted data assets across modern platforms. The Lead Consultant designs and operationalizes governance models, metadata standards, and data quality controls while guiding stakeholders and tool implementations. Based in Kochi with up to 40% international travel, this role offers a senior-level, on-site position within EY’s consulting practice.

What you’ll do

• Implement governance operating models and stewardship roles
• Operationalize catalog, lineage and workflow tools
• Define and enforce data quality scorecards and validation controls
• Develop retention, archival and purge policies
• Lead data governance workstreams and stakeholder engagements

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years data governance experience
• Hands‑on with Collibra, Informatica Axon/EDC, Alation or Microsoft Purview
• Define metadata, lineage and quality standards
• Implement data classification, masking and compliance controls
• Engage business and technology stakeholders
• Experience in financial services or energy sectors
