About the role
Credit Review team in Goldman Sachs Risk division independently assesses the Firm’s credit risk management processes and provides senior management and the Board with objective portfolio assessments. The Vice President leads systematic reviews of wholesale credit portfolios, conducts industry reviews, and performs continuous monitoring of assigned sectors, delivering detailed analysis and quarterly risk reports. Hyderabad, India, on-site office setting.
What you’ll do
- Lead and participate in industry reviews, guiding teams to meet milestones
- Prepare independent analysis of individual credits per procedures and regulatory guidance
- Evaluate adequacy of Credit Risk analyses, challenge ratings and policies as needed
- Perform continuous monitoring of industry sectors, identifying emerging risks
- Prepare quarterly risk assessment reports for assigned portfolios
- Provide expert consultation and advice to senior management
- Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Maintain documentation and communication of findings to stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years banking or credit-related experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis and corporate finance
- Subject matter expertise in corporates, industrials, energy, technology/media/telecom
- Experience with internal audit or credit risk review processes
- Knowledge of banking regulations and lending products
- Effective organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
