About the role
BPS OPS QA Team builds robust test automation solutions to ensure high‑quality software releases. The Test Analyst (Software Development Engineer in Test) creates and maintains Playwright UI and API automation frameworks, integrates tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and participates in Agile ceremonies. Based in India, on‑site work model.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement test automation architecture
- Develop reusable test components and libraries
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testability
- Maintain test data and environments
- Report test results and metrics to stakeholders
- Continuously improve test processes and coverage
- Support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
- Mentor junior team members
What you’ll bring
- Develop and maintain Playwright UI and API automation frameworks
- Write test scripts in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Execute testing across UI, API, and database layers
- Analyze defects and track issues
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Contribute to continuous testing practices
