About the role
Business Technology and Operations team at NetApp drives AI-powered testing transformation. The Senior Software QA Engineer designs and implements AI-driven QA strategies, builds scalable automation frameworks, and integrates LLM-based test generation and defect prediction solutions. Works cross‑functionally with QA, development, and DevOps teams in Bangalore, India, on-site.
What you’ll do
- Define and execute AI‑based QA strategy across projects
- Design and develop scalable AI‑enabled automation frameworks
- Implement AI/GenAI use cases such as test case generation and defect prediction
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools, LLMs, and QA platforms
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to adopt AI testing solutions
- Establish best practices, governance, and reusable QA components
- Develop POCs and scale them to enterprise solutions
- Mentor teams on AI‑driven QA practices
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years QA/automation experience
- Strong test automation framework expertise (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
- Hands‑on AI/ML/GenAI applied to QA
- Programming in Python, Java or JavaScript
- CI/CD tool experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- API, UI, performance and security testing knowledge
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) familiarity
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG
