About the role
NTT DATA Managed Services India team ensures the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and infrastructure. The Senior Associate SRE monitors system health, collaborates with senior engineers to troubleshoot incidents, and automates operational tasks while supporting deployments and capacity planning. What you’ll do
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and alerts
- Diagnose and troubleshoot incidents with senior SREs
- Assist in software and infrastructure deployments
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth releases
- Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency
- Participate in capacity planning and scaling recommendations
- Document incidents and contribute to post‑incident reviews
- Implement security best practices with security teams
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in Python, Bash or PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Jenkins)
- Understanding of incident management and capacity planning
