About the role

Franklin Templeton’s Distribution Intelligence team seeks a Distribution Data Management Analyst to ensure data trust and governance for analytics and AI/BI use cases. The role involves owning data operations, defining quality rules, and leading cross-functional remediation while coaching junior analysts. This full-time position is based in Hyderabad, India, with hybrid work arrangements.

What you’ll do

Independently own BAU and project-based data-management initiatives
Define and execute data-quality rules, root-cause analysis, and validation evidence
Translate ambiguous business requests into field definitions and transformation logic
Partner with technology and analytics teams to resolve data issues
Lead remediation cycles from issue intake through closure
Maintain SOPs, data dictionaries, and process maps
Coach junior analysts on evidence standards and data-quality checks

What you’ll bring

5-8 years experience in data management, governance, or financial services
Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
Experience profiling datasets and performing reconciliations
Knowledge of data lifecycle, lineage, and source-to-target mapping
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

Experience with customer relationship management or distribution data
Ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements
Effective prioritization and workload management skills
