About the role
Franklin Templeton’s Distribution Intelligence team seeks a Distribution Data Management Analyst to ensure data trust and governance for analytics and AI/BI use cases. The role involves owning data operations, defining quality rules, and leading cross-functional remediation while coaching junior analysts. This full-time position is based in Hyderabad, India, with hybrid work arrangements.
What you’ll do
- Independently own BAU and project-based data-management initiatives
- Define and execute data-quality rules, root-cause analysis, and validation evidence
- Translate ambiguous business requests into field definitions and transformation logic
- Partner with technology and analytics teams to resolve data issues
- Lead remediation cycles from issue intake through closure
- Maintain SOPs, data dictionaries, and process maps
- Coach junior analysts on evidence standards and data-quality checks
What you’ll bring
- 5-8 years experience in data management, governance, or financial services
- Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Experience profiling datasets and performing reconciliations
- Knowledge of data lifecycle, lineage, and source-to-target mapping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience with customer relationship management or distribution data
- Ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements
- Effective prioritization and workload management skills
