About the role
Franklin Templeton’s Distribution Intelligence team seeks a Distribution Data Management Analyst to ensure data trust and governance for analytics and AI/BI use cases. The role involves owning data operations, defining quality rules, and leading cross-functional remediation efforts in Hyderabad. This is a full-time position with evening shift timings.
What you’ll do
- Independently own BAU and mid-size data-management initiatives including client data updates and issue resolution.
- Define and execute data-quality rules, root-cause analysis, and validation evidence.
- Translate ambiguous business requests into clear field definitions, transformation logic, and operational controls.
- Partner with technology and analytics teams to resolve data issues and improve data flow.
- Lead remediation cycles from issue intake through analysis, stakeholder alignment, correction, and closure.
- Maintain and improve SOPs, data dictionaries, process maps, and control checklists.
- Coach junior analysts on evidence standards, escalation judgment, and data-quality checks.
What you’ll bring
- 5-8 years of experience in data management, governance, operations, business intelligence, or financial services.
- Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience profiling datasets and performing reconciliations.
- Knowledge of data lifecycle and data lineage concepts.
Nice to have
Experience with customer relationship management, distribution, or financial services data is preferred.
