About the role
Franklin Templeton’s Distribution Intelligence team seeks an Associate Distribution Data Management Analyst to ensure accurate, traceable distribution data for sales, marketing, and reporting. Based in Hyderabad, this full-time role operates on a hybrid model with evening shifts (2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST). The analyst manages daily data operations, quality controls, and process improvements while bridging business users and technology partners.
What you’ll do
- Manage day-to-day data operations requests including client data updates, CRM support, and trade resolution.
- Troubleshoot data integration issues and provide technical analysis with business-facing explanations.
- Document and execute processes for data clean-up, metadata maintenance, and SOP updates.
- Run recurring data audits, reconciliations, quality checks, and UAT support.
- Develop knowledge of upstream/downstream systems and explain data flow impacts.
- Identify recurring manual work patterns and propose practical improvements to reduce cycle time.
- Respond to ad hoc data questions from Distribution business partners.
- Share best practices with data consumers regarding source fields and control paths.
What you’ll bring
- 3-5 years of experience in data management or operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business analytics, finance, or related field preferred.
- Basic to intermediate SQL proficiency.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
- Experience with CRM platforms and ticketing workflows.
- Experience supporting data quality, data cleanup, and UAT activities.
Nice to have
Experience in financial services, banking, asset management, sales operations, or marketing operations preferred.
