About the role

Qualcomm Data Science team builds AI-driven data products that power enterprise decision making. The Staff Data Scientist designs, develops, and operationalizes traditional ML models, agentic AI workflows, and Databricks native applications, collaborating with data engineering and BI teams to embed insights into business processes. Hyderabad, India, on-site, full-time, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and deploy traditional ML models and agentic AI workflows
• Build Databricks native applications, notebooks, dashboards, and APIs
• Operationalize models and agents into production pipelines with monitoring and retraining
• Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and application teams to integrate ML insights
• Provide technical leadership, set standards, and mentor peers

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years data science/ML engineering experience
• 5+ years building RAG-based GenAI agentic applications
• Strong Python proficiency
• Deep experience with traditional ML techniques
• Hands‑on Databricks application development
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, model monitoring
• Familiarity with Lakehouse architectures and feature stores
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
