Principal Consultant, Data Centres & Digital Infrastructure Advisory

About the role

Investment and Transaction Advisory team at WSP provides technical and commercial due diligence for data centre and digital infrastructure investments. The Principal Consultant leads assessments of power, cooling, capacity and resilience of hyperscale, colocation and edge facilities, advises on asset management and investment cases, and engages senior stakeholders across India and globally. Noida, India, hybrid work model with flexibility to collaborate from Bengaluru as needed.

What you’ll do

• Support delivery of technical and commercial due diligence assignments for investors, lenders and developers
• Assess design basis and operational performance of data centre assets
• Provide input on capex benchmarking, lifecycle costs and expansion strategies
• Advise on operational performance, asset management and risk identification
• Contribute technical insights to bids and proposals
• Engage with clients, present findings influencing investment decisions
• Participate in site visits and international projects as required

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in data centres or digital infrastructure
• Experience in technical due diligence or investment advisory
• Strong understanding of data centre design, power, cooling and redundancy
• Capacity planning, utilisation and scalability expertise
• Ability to manage workstreams and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset
