About the role

Engineering Services Team at Godrej Group leads plant engineering, overseeing maintenance, energy management and utility improvement across a large FMCG manufacturing facility. The role directs mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineers, manages budgets, capex projects and ensures compliance with ISO, GMP and safety standards. Based in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India, on-site work model.

What you’ll do

  • Lead engineering services team covering mechanical, electrical and instrumentation domains
  • Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance for process plants
  • Manage maintenance budgets, inventory and capex proposals
  • Oversee energy consumption monitoring and reduction projects
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and regulatory authorities
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, TPM and TQM systems
  • Drive safety, cost control and timeline adherence for departmental projects
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to meet departmental goals

What you’ll bring

  • B.E in Mechanical or equivalent
  • Energy Management qualification desirable
  • 12-15 years senior plant engineering experience
  • Experience with continuous process and chemical plants
  • Hands‑on maintenance of mechanical utilities and equipment
  • Project management of capex and energy reduction initiatives
  • Leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Proficiency with SAP and MS Office
