Deputy General Manager, Asset Management

About the role

Godrej Ventures Asset Management Team drives portfolio performance and investor value across Class A office assets. The Deputy General Manager leads financial modelling, performance tracking, valuation, market research, and transaction execution to optimize returns. Based in Mumbai, India, on-site work model with flexible options.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain financial models for portfolio assets
• Track actual performance against underwriting assumptions and key financial metrics
• Manage quarterly asset valuations and prepare investor reports
• Oversee annual project budgets, execution timelines and cost controls
• Conduct market research on rental rates, occupancy and competitive benchmarks
• Assist in due diligence, negotiation strategies and transaction execution
• Contribute to new investment strategies and product development

What you’ll bring

• MBA or Chartered Accountant in Real Estate or Asset Management
• 10-12 years asset management or real estate private equity experience
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Argus and financial modelling tools
• Experience in investment performance tracking
• Knowledge of market research methodologies
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast‑paced environment
