Senior Principal Software Systems Engineer

About the role

Senior or Principal Software Systems Engineer needed to develop software for high energy density battery power applications. The role focuses on creating user interfaces and control system software that translate complex battery management data into intuitive interfaces, and on modeling and analyzing management and control algorithms for battery and power systems. Responsibilities include designing software to interface users with battery management and control systems, developing management and control algorithms for power applications, and providing design and test support for manufacturing systems. Candidates should have strong C++ and Python development skills, knowledge of PLCs, real‑time embedded design, digital signal processing, embedded C programming, and power converter topologies. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of electrical engineering or computer science experience are required.
