Principal / Senior Principal Software Engineer

Saviynt seeks a Principal Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of its Access Request platform. The role demands deep expertise in Groovy on Grails, Java, and modern front‑end frameworks, coupled with a proven track record of building scalable, secure identity solutions. The engineer will own end‑to‑end features, mentor a high‑impact team, and collaborate across product, QA, and support to resolve production incidents. Strong architectural judgment, performance tuning, and DevOps collaboration are essential. What you’ll do

• Design, build, and own end‑to‑end features in the Access Request stack.
• Write high‑quality Java, Groovy, SQL, and React code to deliver scalable solutions.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues, including dynamic attribute failures and workflow misrouting.
• Champion test automation, performance tuning, and observability improvements.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and pair programming.
• Collaborate with DevOps to enhance build pipelines, deployment strategies, and service resilience.

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years full‑stack development, architecting enterprise‑grade applications.
• Expert in Groovy on Grails, GSP, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and React.
• Proven experience building Access Request platforms with dynamic attributes and workflow engines.
