Tech Lead - API Lead - Java Microservices & Azure (preferred)

About the role

Lead the design and development of Java microservices on Azure, driving high-performance, scalable solutions in the payment domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to best practices and security standards.

• Design and implement high-performance, scalable Java applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute solutions
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
• Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering collaboration
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance

What you’ll bring

• Strong proficiency as a Java Lead
• Experience building payment domain solutions and consumer wallet
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience building authentication and authorization modules with PCI focus
• Strong experience in public cloud (Azure preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in an agile development environment
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
