About the role

The Senior Manager - People Advisory Services (PAS WKFA) role at EY focuses on shaping and delivering business strategy that depends on people, working with global clients on complex people-related challenges across performance, talent, systems, reward, mobility, and analytics. Day-to-day, you will support the design and implementation of HR operating models and organizational structures, improve HR process efficiency, manage people risks, support change efforts, and advise on merger, acquisition, divestiture, and carve-out challenges. Based in Gurugram, India, this client-facing position requires regular travel and occasional time at client sites.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as a key resource on business transformation projects, delivering quality client service, insightful solutions, and balancing multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrate technical competence in the team's capabilities and take a practical, business-driven approach to solving complex client challenges.
  • Contribute to generating profitable revenue by identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting client relationships.
  • Lead project work streams from planning through implementation, managing project resources and budgets effectively.
  • Influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for major change initiatives and decisions.
  • Encourage and facilitate collaboration among team members and promote an inclusive working environment.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients.

What you’ll bring

  • Post graduate degree or equivalent with a specialization in Human Resources (India or abroad) from a Tier 1 Institute.
  • 8+ years of experience in an HR role covering recruitment, organization structuring, manpower planning, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated technical competence in Organizational Change Management, Organizational Design, HR Operating & Delivery Model, HR Process Efficiency & Policy, and Transactions.
  • Relevant professional experience, such as previous work with a global management consultancy firm, niche consultancy, or an in-house role with exposure to large-scale projects.
  • Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative way across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
  • Practical approach to solving issues and complex problems with the ability to deliver insightful and practical solutions.
