About the role

Global Analytics and Technology – Sun King’s data transformation hub. The Head of Data Operations leads the Data Academy and a network of regional Data Operations Leads in Kenya and India, designing enablement systems, overseeing talent pipelines, and ensuring operational excellence for the Data Desk. Fully remote role, supporting teams worldwide.

What you’ll do

  • Design and manage Data Academy curriculum and technical onboarding
  • Lead regional Data Operations Leads recruitment and onboarding
  • Define and enforce Sun King Data Standard across cohorts
  • Set global strategy and SLA performance for Data Desk
  • Partner with Data Product team to create SOPs and automation tools
  • Mentor and develop regional leads, ensuring technical rigor
  • Oversee troubleshooting of data pipelines and logic failures
  • Drive automation of manual tasks with Engineering Hub

What you’ll bring

  • 6-8 years data experience
  • 3+ years senior practitioner
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Data Science/Education
  • Expert SQL and LookML
  • AWS Redshift, S3, Glue expertise
  • Leadership of technical training teams
  • Designing scalable recruitment workflows
  • Operational service queue management
