About the role
Data & AI team at Easyship defines the company-wide data strategy, builds infrastructure, and drives AI innovation. The Head of Data leads analytics, data engineering and data science teams, partners with product, engineering, marketing and operations to make data accessible, actionable and impactful. Bangalore, on-site, full-time role with occasional UK collaboration hours.
What you’ll do
- Define and execute data & AI strategy
- Lead and grow data analytics, engineering, and science teams
- Champion AI/ML initiatives and product intelligence
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure data accessibility
- Guide architecture decisions for analytics platforms and tooling
- Ensure data quality, governance and compliance
- Prioritize initiatives based on ROI
- Promote self‑serve analytics and a culture of experimentation
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years in data leadership
- Strategic data and AI vision
- Experience scaling analytics and engineering teams
- Strong AI/ML concepts and delivery
- Modern data architecture (GCP, BigQuery, Looker, DBT)
