About the role
Systems Reliability Engineering Team at Nutanix delivers reliable enterprise tech support for virtualization and networking. The Systems Reliability Engineer troubleshoots complex issues, collaborates with developers to improve serviceability, and mentors junior staff while contributing to knowledge bases. Based in Pune, India with a hybrid model (3 days onsite) and also supporting Bangalore, India.
What you’ll do
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Collaborate with developers to identify product defects
- Analyze customer data to mitigate risks
- Foster partnerships with technology allies
- Expand internal and external knowledge bases
- Mentor junior team members
- Gather customer feedback for product enhancements
- Provide rotational support coverage
What you’ll bring
- 4-13 years Systems Reliability Engineering experience
- Expertise in VMware ESXi virtualization
- Networking layer 2/3 knowledge
- Linux systems administration
- DevOps and cloud experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
- Familiarity with VMware, Citrix, Microsoft technologies
