About the role
Senior Analyst, People Operations Engineering at LSEG focuses on leading the design, development, and optimization of People Operations Engineering Processes, Security Architecture, and Authentication Policy Design in the Workday platform. The role requires deep expertise in Workday HCM/Security, advanced security setup, SSO, OAuth, and cross‑functional services. Responsibilities include technical design and configuration of Workday solutions, managing implementations, upgrades, and feature rollouts, troubleshooting and support, performance monitoring, testing, governance, compliance, documentation, mentorship, and project lifecycle management. The position is based in Bengaluru, India and is a full‑time, on‑site role.
What you’ll do
- Lead the technical design and configuration of Workday solutions – specialising in security architecture, authentication and cross functional services.
- Manage Workday functionality implementations, upgrades, and feature rollouts.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
- Manage advanced troubleshooting and support for Workday issues with focus on identifying opportunities to reduce overall support cases.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Lead the testing workstream and collaborate with stakeholders to manage end‑to‑end testing.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, integrations, and processes.
- Mentor more junior Workday engineers.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business customers.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Workday, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role. Experience must be in Workday HCM/Security with solid understanding of advanced security setup, solutions, authentication via SSO, OAuth etc.
- Solid understanding of Workday business processes.
- Understanding of Workday integrations and reporting.
- Experience with Workday releases and change management processes.
- Ability to handle own projects through all stages.
Nice to have
- Workday certifications in one or more modules.
- Experience with Workday Extend.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Asana or ServiceNow.
