About the role
Institutional Credit Management (ICM) at Citi builds a first‑line defense framework for credit risk across institutional clients. The Vice President leads credit underwriting, drafting approval memos, conducting financial analysis, stress testing, and monitoring a portfolio spanning India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Works closely with banking, risk, regulators, and internal audit, based in Mumbai with on‑site presence.
What you’ll do
- Execute end‑to‑end credit underwriting process
- Draft comprehensive Credit Approval Memo packages
- Perform financial analysis, projection modeling, and stress testing
- Support relationships with banking, risk, regulators, and audit
- Lead strategic initiatives within ICM underwriting
- Maintain portfolio monitoring and periodic reviews
- Navigate organizational complexity and build cross‑functional partnerships
- Provide balanced risk‑return assessments for transactions
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years credit risk underwriting experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- MBA/CFA/CA preferred
- Strong ethics and integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Influencing and negotiating skills
- Advanced presentation abilities
- Ability to assess financial and industry data
