Associate Senior Clinical Data Scientist

About the role

Clinical Data Science department in Bangalore R&D at Novo Nordisk drives life‑changing innovation by applying AI tools and data expertise to clinical trials. As an Associate Senior Clinical Data Scientist you will manage SDTM and ADaM deliverables, develop eCRFs, metadata specs, and support regulatory submissions while collaborating with CROs and stakeholders. Bangalore, India, on‑site role with hybrid collaboration across global trial squads.

What you’ll do

• Manage trial tasks including finalizing SDTM/ADaM deliverables and creating TFLs
• Develop eCRFs, Data Flow Plans, metadata specifications, mock TFLs, SDRG, ADRG, Define.xml
• Support Clinical Study Reports, Risk Management Plans, Investigator Brochures, and safety update reports
• Collaborate with CROs, regulatory authorities, and scientific communities for seamless trial execution
• Share best practices, optimize processes, and support change management initiatives
• Provide training and support on statistical computing environments and SOPs

What you’ll bring

• 2-3 years programming experience, preferably with biological data
• Proficiency in SAS or R
• Experience with clinical database technologies and advanced programming techniques
• Strong analytical and independent work style
• Excellent written and spoken English communication
• Collaboration across multinational environments

Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, natural sciences, engineering, or equivalent
