Senior People Program Manager

About the role

Tekion seeks a Senior People Program Manager to own end-to-end People programs, build and maintain project plans, operationalize governance, standardize processes, create scalable resources, partner with Legal/Privacy and India compliance, analyze People data, and support cadence for reviews and peak cycles.

What you’ll do

• Own end‑to‑end People programs (performance, engagement, talent, systems, compliance).
• Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones; mitigate risks.
• Operationalize programs: governance, rhythms, documentation, handoffs.
• Standardize and improve: maintain artifacts, playbooks, SOPs, retrospectives.
• Create scalable resources: guides, FAQs, templates, manager communications.
• Partner with Legal/Privacy and India compliance for statutory, audit, data privacy.
• Analyze People data: reporting, audits, dashboards to track health, spot improvements.
• Support cadence: prep Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews, peak cycle readiness.

What you’ll bring

• 4–6 years HR/People Programs, Operations, Project Management, or related roles, ideally in fast growing or mid to large org.
• Hands‑on experience delivering cross‑functional projects or recurring cycles (performance reviews, engagement surveys, system rollouts).
• Working knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Microsoft Planner, Asana) and strong documentation practices.
• Solid Excel or Google Sheets skills for reporting, tracking, basic analysis of HR data.
• Experience working with vendors or internal service providers to track deliverables and timelines.
• Comfort collaborating with global stakeholders across time zones, including India–US teams.

Nice to have

• Exposure to India compliance topics (statutory processes, audits) through partnership with subject matter experts.
• Experience with People systems such as Workday (or equivalent HRIS), Greenhouse or Ashby (ATS), or similar tools.
• Formal project management training or certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
