About the role

Barclays Corporate Banking Operations team drives efficient banking services across the APAC region. The Director leads a large operations function, shaping strategy, overseeing risk management, compliance and KPI frameworks while coaching senior managers and their teams. Based in Mumbai, India, on‑site role with occasional travel to regional offices.

What you’ll do

• Identify trends and improve processes through data analysis
• Manage operational professionals, providing guidance and coaching
• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure operational effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align operations with business objectives
• Lead retention initiatives in partnership with HR
