About the role

Infrastructure Operations at Russell Investments, Mumbai, ensures the firm’s global infrastructure is secure, resilient, and scalable. The Director leads a regional team delivering cloud and on‑premises services, drives automation with Terraform and Kubernetes, and partners with cybersecurity to meet SOX, GDPR, and India regulatory standards. Mumbai office, on-site, with high visibility to global leadership and opportunity to shape enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Own and execute Mumbai infrastructure roadmap aligned with global strategy
• Lead and develop high‑performing regional infrastructure team
• Oversee day‑to‑day cloud and on‑prem operations
• Champion automation and infrastructure‑as‑code initiatives
• Ensure 24x7 reliability, performance, and security of systems
• Manage regional vendor relationships and SLAs
• Drive modernization to reduce technical debt
• Provide regional insights for enterprise initiatives

Nice to have

• 15+ years IT infrastructure experience
• 5+ years leadership of regional/large‑scale teams
• Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud expertise
• VMware virtualization and Cisco networking
• Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab automation
• Financial services regulatory compliance
• Stakeholder management across global teams
• MBA a plus
