About the role

Digital Post Trade Tech team at JPMorgan Chase builds end‑to‑end digital platforms that enable the Operations group and external clients to execute post‑trade actions efficiently. The Senior Director leads multiple technical areas, drives migration and AI‑enabled engineering initiatives, and actively contributes code in a full‑stack, distributed systems environment. Mumbai, India, on‑site, hybrid model with occasional travel to India, UK and US offices.

What you’ll do

  • Define and execute technology strategy for post‑trade platforms
  • Lead migration, transformation, and AI‑enabled engineering initiatives
  • Architect, design, and develop high‑performance distributed systems
  • Drive agile delivery, CI/CD, and automated testing pipelines
  • Coach and develop engineering talent across technical and leadership domains
  • Collaborate with global senior leadership to align platform roadmap
  • Establish governance for responsible AI use in engineering workflows
  • Ensure security, resiliency, and compliance across all solutions

What you’ll bring

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years leading technologists in complex domains
  • 5+ years hands‑on full‑stack development
  • Expertise in Java/JVM, Spring/SpringBoot, microservices
  • Deep knowledge of distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with AI‑assisted development and automation tools
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, architecture, and transactional semantics
  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership on AI governance
