About the role
Data Center Capacity Delivery APAC Controls Deployment and Service (DCCD APAC CDS) team ensures health of AWS data centers by delivering and servicing building automation systems like BMS and EPMS. The Controls Engineer deploys and supports these systems, manages change orders, commissioning documentation, and coordinates schedules with TPMs and construction teams. Hyderabad, on-site role with occasional global travel.
What you’ll do
- Assist in review and processing of control system change orders and SOW adjustments
- Provide administrative and technical support for BMS and EPMS commissioning activities
- Manage control system project documentation and as-built drawings
- Coordinate deployment schedules with TPMs, construction managers, and commissioning teams
- Support maintenance of control system standards and specifications
- Track installation progress, testing completion, and production readiness
- Gather feedback to improve deployment workflows
- Develop and maintain training materials and technical documentation
What you’ll bring
4+ years relevant work in data center or critical environment
Nice to have
- Vendor management experience
- Construction or project management experience (3+ years)
- Electrical or mechanical Journeyman License
- Operating engineering license (DC II, DC III, or equivalent)
