About the role

State Street’s Chief Product Office (IS) seeks a Managing Director to lead product strategy, advocacy, and governance for Investment Services in India. Based in Mumbai or Hyderabad, the role oversees multidisciplinary teams driving market analysis, regulatory intelligence, and process re-engineering. This senior leadership position reports to the Global CPO while managing local execution across key product functions.

What you’ll do

• Lead structured market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy
• Develop product business cases using rigorous financial modeling
• Translate insights into product-led advocacy positions for clients and regulators
• Drive strategy for enterprise content platform and product roadmaps
• Define regulatory horizon scanning models and assess vendor capabilities
• Lead process re-engineering initiatives to streamline workflows
• Oversee governance for new business approvals and risk alignment
• Mentor senior talent and manage stakeholder relationships across functions

What you’ll bring

• Over 18 years total work experience
• 10+ years relevant business/product experience
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
• Proven track record in strategic planning and product management
• Financial acumen with scenario-based modeling skills
• Deep understanding of competitive landscape and client needs
