About the role
Quality Assurance Team at Larsen & Toubro Ltd. leads the quality function for civil, structural, MEP and finishing works, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and client specifications. The Senior Manager develops and implements project QA/QC plans, oversees inspections, testing and material certification, and drives corrective actions. Based in Chennai, on-site role with full responsibility for the QA/QC team and coordination with consultants and clients.
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans
- Lead and coordinate QA/QC team across all construction disciplines
- Oversee stage-wise inspections and approvals
- Manage material testing, certification and third‑party lab coordination
- Identify non‑conformances, initiate NCRs and drive corrective actions
What you’ll bring
- 14-20 years experience in construction QA/QC
- Proven track record with ISO 9001 implementation
- Leadership of multidisciplinary QA/QC teams
Nice to have
- Experience managing QA/QC for civil, structural, MEP projects
- Strong knowledge of inspection and testing protocols
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and CAPA
