About the role

Swiggy AI team builds AI-first systems that power the on-demand delivery experience for millions of customers. As a Staff Data Scientist you will lead design and implementation of large language model, generative AI and agentic AI solutions, define orchestration mechanisms, and guide AI strategy across product and engineering. Bangalore, hybrid (remote‑on‑site), relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Lead design of scalable AI systems
• Build and integrate ontology layers and feedback loops
• Evaluate and benchmark AI frameworks for cost and performance
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams

What you’ll bring

• 8-12 years AI/Data Science experience
• 2-3 years hands‑on LLM/GenAI work
• System design for low‑latency AI platforms
• Orchestration tools such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen

Nice to have

• Proven AI‑first product delivery
• Experience with multi‑agent workflows
• Knowledge of open‑source vs proprietary models
• Strong communication with product stakeholders
