Senior Staff/Staff/Senior Lead, Camera Image Quality

About the role

Qualcomm Engineering Systems develops advanced camera image quality solutions for mobile, automotive, IoT, XR and compute devices. The Senior Staff/Lead will design and develop IQ evaluation systems, implement and optimize image processing pipelines, and create metrics and ML features to improve image quality. Hyderabad, on-site, hybrid schedule with occasional remote days as needed.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop camera IQ evaluation systems across multiple use cases
• Implement and optimize image processing algorithms on target hardware
• Develop and refine image quality metrics and ML features
• Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware IQ issues
• Collaborate with global development teams and external customers
• Investigate and improve existing ISP modules and tuning interfaces
• Develop computer vision and machine learning solutions for imaging
• Create documentation and support for imaging lab testing

What you’ll bring

• 5-14 years multimedia/embedded experience
• Bachelor's in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of digital and image processing
• Experience with 3A algorithms and ISP pipelines
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch
• Experience with Linux camera sensor driver bring-up
• Background in computer vision algorithms
