About the role
Infrastructure Engineering team at J.P. Morgan delivers high‑performance network infrastructure for critical business applications. The Lead Infrastructure Engineer drives AI‑assisted automation, capacity planning and cross‑team collaboration to improve data and system reliability at scale. Hyderabad, India, on‑site, hybrid schedule with occasional travel to Bengaluru.
What you’ll do
- Apply technical knowledge to moderate‑scope projects improving data and systems at scale
- Validate AI‑assisted recommendations and ensure security, resiliency and auditability
- Drive daily capacity process activities and automation routines
- Partner with application and infrastructure teams to identify and remediate capacity risks
- Lead decisions across multiple technologies and applications
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years infrastructure engineering experience
- Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering
- Experience using enterprise‑authorized AI capabilities for infrastructure workflows
- Proficiency in Python, Ansible or similar automation languages
- Knowledge of SD‑WAN, fabric switching, Wi‑Fi and network security technologies
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and multi‑cloud migrations
