About the role
Power Plant Site Engineering Support team designs and engineers static equipment for gas‑based power plants. The Senior Lead Engineer leads technical design, resolves site issues, supports NCR/ER processes, creates field modifications, and drives quality KPIs across the Mechanical COE. Bengaluru, India, on-site work model, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Support NCR and ER during installation and commissioning
- Create Field Modification Instructions and Mod‑Kits
- Provide technical solutions for static equipment issues
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers and engineering disciplines
- Drive Quality KPI reporting and CAPA actions
- Participate in design reviews and SAFER case studies
What you’ll bring
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience
- Mechanical engineering degree or masters
- Gas based power plant experience with GE Vernova turbines
- Knowledge of ANSI, ASME, AMCA, ASHRAE codes
- Design methods and tools for static equipment
