About the role

Carrier Global's AI/ML team drives intelligent climate and energy solutions by building AI-powered engineering tools. The Senior AI/ML Engineer designs, develops, and maintains software applications, contributes to generative AI and LLM solutions, and creates APIs and cloud‑native services to boost engineering productivity. Hyderabad, Hybrid work model, collaborating with global architects and product owners.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern languages and frameworks
  • Contribute to AI/ML‑enabled solutions, integrations, and automation workflows
  • Participate in requirements analysis, design reviews, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Develop APIs, microservices, and cloud‑native applications
  • Create unit and integration tests and support QA activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues ensuring reliability and performance
  • Collaborate with global teams and engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
  • Maintain technical documentation and follow engineering best practices

What you’ll bring

  • Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, LangChain, RAG, or AI agents
  • Experience with Github/Anthropic tools and evaluation frameworks
  • Proficiency in Python, React, Node.js, FastAPI
  • Containerization using Docker/Kubernetes
  • Exposure to DevOps, MLOps, and cloud‑native architectures
  • Understanding of SDLC automation and engineering productivity tools
