Senior AI/ML Engineer

About the role

Product Engineering at NationsBenefits builds enterprise AI/ML platforms that power data-driven decision making across the organization. As a Senior AI/ML Engineer you will lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, create robust pipelines, and ensure observability and governance of models. This role is based in Hyderabad, India and works on-site at the company headquarters.

What you’ll do

• Lead development and deployment of enterprise‑scale AI/ML and Generative AI solutions
• Design and optimize end‑to‑end ML pipelines including experimentation and retraining
• Build scalable inference architectures and vector search systems
• Implement observability, monitoring, governance, and production support for AI models
• Manage model lifecycle with versioning and CI/CD automation
• Mentor engineering teams and establish best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI‑driven solutions
• Optimize AI systems for scalability, latency, reliability, and cost

Nice to have

• 10+ years of AI/ML engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and APIs
• Experience with ML frameworks: Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain
• Knowledge of vector databases and RAG pipelines
• Hands‑on with MLOps tools: MLflow, DVC, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Implement observability and monitoring for AI systems
• Experience deploying scalable cloud‑native inference pipelines
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services
