Specialist / Senior Specialist - Payroll

About the role

Marsh, a global leader in risk and reinsurance, seeks a Specialist / Senior Specialist – Payroll to join its HR Shared Services team in Noida. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence at least three days a week while offering remote flexibility. Candidates will manage end‑to‑end payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies. Responsibilities include maintaining payroll records, coordinating with HR and Finance, preparing statutory reports, handling audits, and supporting system upgrades. The ideal applicant brings 3‑5 years of payroll experience, proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel, strong analytical and communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Experience in multi‑country payroll environments and familiarity with payroll in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, UK, or APAC is a plus. What you’ll do

• Process end‑to‑end payroll accurately and timely
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and policies
• Maintain and update payroll records, attendance, leaves, benefits
• Coordinate with HR and Finance for payroll queries and reconciliations
• Prepare and submit statutory reports and filings
• Handle payroll audits and resolve discrepancies
• Support payroll system implementation and upgrades
• Respond to employee inquiries about payroll, deductions, benefits
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information

What you’ll bring

• 3‑5 years payroll processing experience
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and systems
• Familiarity with local labor laws and tax regulations
