About the role
Head of Data & Analytics Strategy at Dentsu leads the Business Intelligence discipline, setting strategic direction for the team and ensuring integrated responses to people‑based marketing objectives. The role oversees operational performance, prepares operating budgets, and supports financial management of client engagements. It designs and implements short‑term and long‑term business strategy, provides corporate‑level direction for new products, solutions, services, processes, policies, standards, and operational plans, and translates strategy into operating plans for sub‑functions. The position ensures profitable growth, directs day‑to‑day operations for efficiency and performance, continuously upgrades service offerings with innovative, market‑oriented solutions, and leads a 50–100 member team with a 4–5 member DR. Strong communication and client‑management skills are essential, as is hands‑on experience in Insights and Analytics.
What you’ll do
- Oversees, monitors, and evaluates operational performance by directing the preparation of operating budgets and supporting financial management of client engagements
- Designs, develops, and implements short term and long-term business strategy. Provide corporate level direction for new products, solutions, services, processes, policies, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy
- Translates business strategy to an operating plan for respective function/sub-functions
- Ensures profitable growth for the organization by preparing and implementing operating plans in line with the overall business plans
- Directs all aspects of the day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and performance in accordance with the corporate objectives, strategies, and plans
- Ensures existing service offerings are continuously upgraded with innovative solutions that are market oriented and enable the function to continuously climb the value chain
- Leads and engages the team with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organization achieves its business objectives.
