Provides technical leadership, collaborates with global stakeholders, customers, and cross‑functional teams, and supports sales and pre‑sales activities. Applies Lean/Agile/XP, CI, security, scalability, and testing practices to deliver robust solutions.
What you’ll do
- Lead people and technical work as senior member of Software Center of Excellence.
- Enhance, evolve, support high‑availability Electricity Energy Market Management System.
- Drive business and talent growth for industry expertise and delivery.
- Identify growth needs for team members to elevate performance.
- Work closely with global stakeholders to ensure effective team utilization.
- Foster positive, collaborative, innovative work culture.
- Lead and support implementation of advanced Power Systems Application software.
- Provide domain knowledge and technical leadership to team.
- Collaborate with customers and project team throughout lifecycle.
- Interact with Product Development, Customers, Solution Providers, cross‑functional teams.
- Support sales activities with technical demos and upsell opportunities.
- Apply SDLC principles and methodologies (Lean/Agile/XP, CI, security, scalability, testing).
- Identify project delivery risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support marketing efforts for proposals and demonstrations.
- Participate in pre‑sales activities, leading SOW deliverables and assumptions.
What you’ll bring
- Master's/Doctorate in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) or equivalent.
- 12+ years in Power Systems domain and software development.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication.
- Deliver formal/informal presentations to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proficient interacting with all organizational levels.
- Preferred: hands‑on energy exchange/markets application development.
